According to the officials in Mason City, Iowa, a house fire in northern Iowa has resulted in the deaths of four children and injuries to two others.
According to a news statement released by the city’s fire department on Wednesday shortly after 5 a.m., personnel responded to a “fully involved house fire” on N. Washington Avenue.
According to the report from the department, when the firefighters arrived at the scene of the fire, they observed the four children still inside the house.
The victims were taken to a hospital, where it was confirmed that they had passed away before their arrival.
The victims have been identified as Phenix Mcluer, 3 years old; Drako Mcluer, 6 years old; Odin Thor Mcluer, 10 years old; and John Michael Mcluer Jr., 12 years old, according to the Mason City Fire Department.
Ravan Dawn Mcluer, 11, and John Michael Mcluer Sr., 55, both exited the residence with “burn-related injuries,” as stated by the fire service.
