On July 8th, 2005, Trevor Scott’s dearest wish came true thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. They arranged for him to meet country superstar Toby Keith at Toby’s concert in Cleveland, Ohio. Trevor, a patient at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital awaiting a liver transplant, had his dream fulfilled backstage at the Blossom Music Center.

Meeting Toby Keith, Trevor asked if he could sing alongside him, to which Toby graciously agreed. Together, they performed Toby’s hit song “American Soldier,” captivating the audience with Trevor’s heartfelt rendition.

Just three days later, Trevor underwent a successful liver transplant. It’s heartwarming to witness such poignant moments unfold!

However, in a somber turn of events, Toby Keith, now 61 years old, has revealed his battle with stomach cancer, prompting him to halt recording and concert activities. We’re all rooting for the country music icon’s speedy recovery.
