The son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale is a musician who follows in his parents’ footsteps.
On Monday, July 29, the 15-year-old made his country music debut, taking the stage at his stepfather Blake Shelton’s Ole Red saloon in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Stefani and Shelby tied the knot in 2021.
Shelton introduced his stepson before taking the stage, and the two wore matching cowboy hats while the singer gazed on proudly. A fan video shows Zuma sitting down as Shelton adjusts his microphone and exclaims, “This is him, everybody!”
In the video, the “God’s Country” singer stands to the side as Zuma performs Zach Bryan’s song “Oklahoma Smokeshow,” singing and playing guitar while seated on a stool.

Zuma’s brother Kingston, now 18, also performed at Shelton’s Ole Red saloon in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, in a TikTok video posted about a year ago.
Before beginning his performance, Kingston comfortably spoke with the audience, the guitarist who joined him on stage, and a pianist. Kingston reached some incredible notes during the song, demonstrating his outstanding vocal abilities, much to the pleasure of the audience.
“Love you guys, thank you for being here!” As he finished his performance, the audience roared and clapped. “Thank you; it means everything to me. I hope you had a wonderful night and enjoyed yourself.”
In an April interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shelton discussed becoming a stepfather to Stefani’s three boys, Zuma, Kingston, and Apollo, whom she has with ex-Rossdale.
Shelton spoke about their future together as he discussed the tenth anniversary of meeting his now-wife.
“If I could have a repeat of the last ten years, that would be ideal,” he told the site. “Next month, we are expecting an 18-year-old, and it’s astounding to me that this has already happened.” And in a few years, we’ll have another 18-year-old. It also means a lot more alone time, which I’m not complaining about either.”
The performer then joked, “But we still have Apollo, so we have another almost 10 years before we can kick him out, so it should be a lot of fun.”
Shelton also stated that one of his favorite aspects of being a stepfather is the opportunity to teach Stefani’s boys about his favorite things.
“I get to teach them the country, you know, and I love that,” he told me. “Whether it’s music, having their hands in the mud, or going out on the ranch and seeing the animals, you know? I truly adore being the one to introduce them to that stuff.”
