Ana-Maria Mărgean entered the stage on “Romania’s Got Talent” at the age of eleven.
She performed her ventriloquism act in response to footage of Terry Fator, a fellow ventriloquist and Season 2 winner of “America’s Got Talent.”
As a result, the young Romanian spent her quarantine period in 2020 painstakingly studying how to bring her parents’ puppets to life.
Winning “Romania’s Got Talent” transformed Mărgean’s life.
It even enabled her family to purchase a fresh new home.
To believe that ventriloquism is not common in her nation.
She has her sights set on America now.
Waldo, her rescue dog puppet, was quickly presented to America’s Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum.
What follows is a spectacular exhibition of ventriloquism.
So her routine begins on the AGT stage.
Mărgean and her “rescue dog,” Waldo, then dispute who is in control.
It’s a lighthearted conversation that gets both the audience and the judges laughing.
Her mother appears nervous, but she quickly relaxes when she realizes how much everyone adores her daughter.
But then Mărgean (and Waldo) began singing a brassy rendition of Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me.”

The judges’ jaws dropped in wonder as the audience began to applaud.
Mărgean, on the other hand, is no slouch in the vocal department since this girl can sing!
Those high notes are difficult to nail, especially when the show includes a puppet that must also sing.
“Ana-Maria is, hands down, the best act I’ve seen on any AGT show this year!” commented one fan in the comments. I didn’t anticipate her to be so good when she first started her act, but her ability blew me away! Her singing voice is fantastic, as are her ventriloquism talents! She is on par with Darcy Lynne, which is saying a lot considering Darci was one of my favorite AGT acts of all time! Ana-Maria is now my obvious favorite to win AGT: All-Stars 2023!”
Let’s hope he’s correct!

It’s a fantastic performance that earned a standing ovation.
Simon desired his own dog, or at the very least his own puppet!
“Wow!” said Heidi. It’s no surprise you won. You are amazing. You’re stunning. You have a wonderful voice. I adore your canine companion. It was also entertaining; I enjoyed all of the banter and jokes.”
“I was laughing,” Howie continued. “And I don’t trust your tale about starting this during lockdown. You don’t even have two years of experience. That is incredible. You have been named an ‘AGT: All-Star.’ The superfans will adore you.”
It’s clear that they all adored her!
We already like this young Romanian talent and cannot wait for more!
It’s a show you won’t want to miss!
