We can all make an effort to save the life of a loved one day, and we can all give an organ to someone in need at any time. We’re lucky to have good people around us.

But how many young, healthy people are willing to give a stranger one of their organs? Buddy Hall’s mother went through something like this. Buddy, a one-year-old boy, was born with a problem with his kidneys. He had renal failure and needed a donation to stay alive.

Both surgeries went well, and Buddy’s health started to get better soon after. Taylor, too, was fine. It was a moment the family will never forget.
