On her 76th birthday, Vera Wang embraces Parisian elegance! On Friday, June 27, the design diva traveled to Paris to celebrate her birthday and shared numerous photos from her trip on Instagram. She began by uploading a snapshot of the fruit basket and flowers she received upon arrival at Hotel Plaza Athenee.
Wang promised in the caption of her next shot, which showed her sporting denim leggings, a flowery jacket, and platform boots, that she would be heading out for numerous dinners while in the European city. A day later, she had a “rare” event—breakfast in bed—before changing into a jersey and black leggings to savor the scenery from her balcony.
The bridal wear designer’s primary event was an evening at the chic restaurant Le Relais Plaza. For the event, she looked stunning in a black minidress and knee-high boots. Wang added an extra touch by painting her age in glitter on her arm. She kept her characteristic waist-length hair straight and wore minimal makeup.
“Just celebrated 75 9/10 – 76th birthday NEW YORK TIME with my Parisian group and a few others who have been longtime best friends! Thank you, everybody, for making this night so amazing! “🖤,” she captioned three photographs of herself entering the venue.
Despite the fact that her celebrations coincided with Paris Fashion Week, Guram Gvasalia, creative director of Vetements, was among those who attended.
Wang posted four images with the description, “FINALLY… Guram, in the same city at the same time…. So thrilled to see you and Kirill for my birthday!”
She was in excellent spirits throughout the event, which included drinks and wine before being presented with a birthday cake adorned with candles and her age.

Wang’s birthday comes after she announced her age in an exclusive interview about her Vera Wang Love Eau de Parfum.
The fragrance is presented in a container designed like a diamond ring to symbolize romance, with a “feminine and confident” amber floral perfume. Wang stated that love is required in an era when research shows that marriage is dwindling.
“I think it’s because of my age,” Wang explained in recent interviews. “When you look at my resume, you can see that I’ve had a lot of fashion experience, but I also believe I’ve had a lot of human experience. And I must admit that I see a greater need for those skills today than ever before.”
