98-year-old grandma steals the show during Country Singer’s performance

While I’m not a musician myself, I did have piano lessons growing up, which marked my first experience performing in front of a live audience. It was a nerve-wracking moment, even though the audience was small, mostly consisting of my classmates’ families. Thankfully, I made it through the recital without any major mishaps, but it made me realize that live entertainment wasn’t my calling.

However, there are individuals who thrive on performing live, and for them, stepping into the spotlight is a dream come true. In the world of country music, performing at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, is a significant honor.

For contemporary country singer Josh Turner, standing on the Grand Ole Opry stage was a monumental moment. But during his performance, he surprised everyone by inviting his wife’s 98-year-old grandmother, Lois Cunningham, to join him on stage for her debut performance. Lois played “How Great Thou Art” beautifully, receiving a well-deserved standing ovation from the audience.

This heartwarming moment captured on video reminds us that dreams can come true at any age. Watch the emotional performance below and share it with your loved ones!
