Loren is the true voice behind this song, yet many people are unaware of her.
The emotionally powerful power ballad “Never Enough” from the film The Greatest Showman helped propel it to the UK’s longest-running No. 1 soundtrack in 50 years.
Rebecca Ferguson plays Jenny Lind in the song, but Loren Allred is an exceptional vocalist who sings it.
Allred has never received the recognition or visibility she deserves for the song. Until now, that is.
Ferguson was the one who requested that Allred take over the singing.

Loren Allred is on the stage of Britain’s Got Talent, preparing to unveil who she is and why she’s such a huge deal to the four judges and the crowd.
Simon Cowell couldn’t believe it.
The normal introductions were given, and while Allred sang and performed on gorgeous stages with many great stars in stunning outfits, she arrives before the judges looking extremely casual.
“So you sang one of the most famous songs of all time.” “You’ve revealed that it wasn’t the actress who sang the song in the movie — it was you,” Simon replies.
When asked why now, Allred stated, “I was more comfortable singing behind the scenes, but I kind of feel like the song was meant for me, and now I’m ready to put a face to the song.”

Everyone in the audience had their jaws dropped and their eyes wide open as they realized the woman on stage was the same woman they heard singing in the movie.
Allred, 32, believes she is now ready to reveal to the world the face behind the power ballad.
As an unsigned musician, Allred told The Sun before her debut on the show that she was “still trying to make a name for myself” in the music industry.
“Even though I’ve been in the music industry for a long time, most people don’t know who I am.” Over the years, I’ve fought for the opportunity to be acknowledged and to succeed.”
“The opportunity to sing Never Enough arose from my work as a session singer in the choir, and despite the song’s success, people still believe the actress sang it.”

Allred went on.
“I’ve never had the chance to tell my story.”
But as she started singing, the room fell silent as everyone waited to see and hear if it was truly her. Allred hits her groove after an emotional start.
It’s the same woman that sang “Never Enough”!
Note after note, higher and higher, Allred’s performance brings the house down, keeping everyone on their feet until the conclusion. And the judges couldn’t help but cheer for Loren!
Amanda Holden pressed the golden buzzer as Loren ended and the judges rose to their feet, showering Allred with gold from the sky.

Loren finally received the accolades she deserved after a lengthy wait. She desired to emerge from the shadows and into the light. I’m sure she didn’t consider the light to be golden!
