After spotting a small girl wandering at the metro station, a nice beggar prioritizes her interests and spends all of his money to feed her. The following day, the girl appears and places a unique present in his begging hat—a pair of keys.
“Man, try singing in one of the city’s pubs!” I haven’t seen someone perform like this in a long time!”
“Better yet, I have a friend in the music industry.” I’ll connect you with him the next time I see you!”

“Thank you so much. “Thank you, everyone!” said Steve gratefully as the metro passengers praised his performance. They had no idea he had previously intended to be a musician, but things had gone so wrong that he was now a homeless guy making a livelihood by playing the accordion and singing songs.
But, as the phrase goes, everyone’s life comes full circle one day. Steve’s opportunity arrived, however late…
Steve quickly packed his stuff after his musical performance one day and decided to get off at the next station and have dinner with the money he had earned. That day, luck had been a bit too good to him, and he’d earned more than he normally did.
Steve grabbed his belongings and made his way to the metro steps as the train came, looking forward to a great day ahead. He had no clue destiny had something else in store for him.
He opened the package and discovered a set of keys inside. “What is this?” he inquired, perplexed.

Steve was hurrying towards the stairs when he dropped something and turned around to pick it up. Suddenly, he spotted a little girl, no more than six years old, come off of the train, gazing about in uncertainty and weeping. She had two pigtails and carried a bag on her shoulders, and there were no seniors around.
“She’s so young and all alone.” Is she gone?” Steve was puzzled as he approached her and glanced at her.
“Good day, little miss. “Can I assist you in any way?” In the kindest voice, he asked her.
Still weeping, she nodded. “I lost my father.” I can’t seem to locate him anywhere.”
“Oh, did you?” Steve moaned hopelessly as he looked around. “Can you tell me his name?” or how does he appear? I can assist you in locating him.”
“Mommy calls him Andrew, but I call him Daddy, and he is very handsome,” she continued, as Steve cautiously nodded.
“All right, okay. So we’ll locate Daddy Andrew quite shortly! But first, you must stop sobbing because no papa wants to watch his beautiful daughter cry, okay?”

“But how are we going to find Daddy?” I can’t seem to find Daddy!” She expressed her concern while weeping.
Steve didn’t want to leave the girl alone at the station since it was freezing outside. He decided to take her to a local cafe and treat her to something hot and tasty in the hopes that it would calm her down and allow her to tell him more about how she had been estranged from her father. He would then call the authorities and inform them of the situation.
“My name is Steve, by the way,” he introduced himself. “Can you tell me your name?” Would you like a wonderful hot chocolate before we look for Daddy?”
“But my father warned me not to take anything from strangers!” “What if you’re a bad guy?”
Steve burst out laughing. “But don’t bad people harm children?” I have no desire to cause you harm! I’d want to assist you in finding your father!”
The small girl looked at him for a while before nodding. “Okay. But we’ll be back shortly. I like hot chocolate, but I also need to locate my father.”
“Of course, miss. “As you say,” Steve said, smiling.

Steve spent all of the money he’d earned that day at the café, knowing he’d have to go to bed hungry that night. But witnessing the girl eat gave him the satisfaction of knowing he’d done a nice thing.
While Mia ate her burger and hot chocolate, Steve continued to question her about her father. Thankfully, her tears had ceased, allowing her to adequately convey what had occurred.
Mia’s father had opted to use the subway to drop her off at school, but they had been separated owing to the large throng at the station. She began to weep since she didn’t know what to do when she didn’t see her father.
Even though Steve understood what had transpired, he was still concerned about finding Mia’s father. He considered contacting the police, but Mia’s father would almost certainly be searching for her at the station, so after leaving the café, he returned to the subway station and reported the event to the authorities. But before he could do so, he heard over the intercom that Mia’s father was seeking her.
“Mia! We discovered your father! Let’s go!” He snatched her up in his arms and dashed to the announcer’s booth.

Mia burst out laughing and waving her hands. “Daddy! “I’ve arrived!”
“Keep him! He’s arrived! He’s attempting to kidnap my daughter!” Andrew sobbed as he raced up to Steve with the guards and pulled Mia from his arms. “How dare you approach her? “Keep your distance from my daughter!”
“But, sir…”
“Daddy!” Mia chimed in. “Steve discovered you! Don’t be angry with him. He went out and got me a burger and some hot chocolate. Steve is a gentleman, exactly like you, daddy!”
“He didn’t hurt you.” Andrew was perplexed, and Mia shook her head.
“He is not a bad man, Daddy.”
“I might be homeless, but I am not a bad person at heart, sir,” Steve continued defensively.

Andrew felt horrible for questioning Steve and realized he shouldn’t have blamed him so harshly at that time. He wanted to compensate Steve for taking care of Mia, but Steve refused to accept any money.
“It’s okay, sir,” Steve said. “I’m just glad I could help.” While I don’t have much money, I do have a heart. You are not required to reimburse me.”
Mia said farewell to Steve before leaving the station that day, and Andrew thanked him once more.
The following day, Steve was back on the metro, performing his tunes as usual. As he finished his act, he saw a little hand reaching into his begging hat and placing a small package inside.
Steve raised his head and grinned. “Mia?”
Thankfully, she wasn’t alone this time; she was with her parents.
“Good day, sweetie. “What exactly are you doing here?” Steve inquired.

“I came to bring you a present, Steve.” I want to assist you since you helped me. But there’s a rule: you can’t refuse my assistance!”
“Oh, is that so?” Steve laughed and went to open her package.
He opened the package and discovered a set of keys inside. “What is this?” he inquired, perplexed.
Mia said, “It’s your new home, Steve!”
“No way!” Steve’s eyes welled up with tears. “Is this really…”

“You certainly deserve it, Steve!” Andrew remarked as he appeared behind Mia. “You are a selfless man who has assisted my daughter.” This is just a token gesture. It’s a manufactured house. My business specializes in them. I hope this is useful to you!”
“And it takes you to different places!” Mia said. “Good always returns with good, Steve!” That is what my mother and father taught me! You performed well, therefore you received well!” Steve smiled through his tears as she added and embraced him.
