Meeting the new baby might go pretty well, or really poorly, for older siblings. You never know what you’re going to receive until it happens.

Erin and Dale of Aiken, South Carolina, knew their 6-year-old daughter Adalynn would be eager to meet her new little sister Madison as they prepared to deliver their second daughter. What they didn’t expect was how impacted the youngster would be when she first laid eyes on that swaddled face.

We watch tiny Addy being taken into her mother’s hospital room only minutes after Madison was born in a heartwarming video that has gone viral with millions of views. The child’s expression is reminiscent of Christmas morning; she’s definitely expecting a fantastic present that she’s been waiting to unwrap for 9 months!

She clearly wants to touch the baby, but for the time being, she is content with merely holding her sister’s small hand. However, as Erin stated on Facebook, she ultimately gave in to her daughter’s plea to hold her baby sibling. She was just adorable. Who could pass up this priceless photo opportunity?
