A 13-year-old boy walked onto the stage, and as he started singing, all four chairs turned at once, their lights flashing like thunderclaps. In a moment, the kid no one believed in reminded the world what awe really sounds like

On The Voice Australia, Ethan Hall delivered a stunning rendition of the classical hymn ‘Pie Jesu,’ which turned all four judges’ chairs.

‘Pie’ means “pious,” and this hymn is a petition to Jesus for His protection over the departed, saving them from God’s wrath or the day of retribution. We believers in Christ understand that there will come a day when God will judge the entire world, which is known as the Great White Throne Judgment of God.

This classical composition is extremely difficult to execute, and as 13-year-old Ethan Hall from Southern Australia sings it today, we are astounded by his daring to do so on a platform like ‘The Voice.’

As soon as he begins to sing the song, the atmosphere in the room changes, and everyone is astounded at how the small child can sing with such grace and precision, hitting the high notes so beautifully. The judges may be observed pondering how young the individual singing the song is.

Suddenly, the first chair turns to celebrate his parents’ delight, and the audience begins applauding the gifted child. The next judge rotates around her chair, followed by the third, and as the youngster strikes the final high note, the last chair turns as well.

The young child is in tears, unable to comprehend that his performance has turned all four judges’ chairs around. Ethan’s performance serves as a reminder to all of us that we can overcome any obstacle if we seek aid from God, who is always eager to assist His children.
