A seven-year-old child was swimming in his apartment complex’s pool when he found the lifeless body of a three-year-old at the bottom of the six-foot-deep pool. In an unexpected turn of events, the child in today’s tale saw a cub swimming at the bottom of the pool and realized he had to save his life. Without hesitation, the youngster did something unexpected that drew media attention to his story. Messiah Browne, a seven-year-old child who resided in Sacramento, California, with his mother and brother, was playing in the pool with his family when something peculiar grabbed his attention.

Massiah reported seeing an unknown youngster at the bottom of the pool, six feet deep in the water, with his eyes and mouth open. Massiah, perplexed, informed his nine-year-old cousin Savannah about the youngster before rushing into the water to rescue him. Massiah grabbed the small boy’s arms and hauled him to the surface of the water, swimming to the surface. Savannah then dragged the three-year-old youngster to the pool’s edge, where he drew the attention of the others.

Meanwhile, his mother received word from family members that her son had saved a child from the pool. She rushed out of her apartment and down to the pool to see her son and the youngster he had rescued. After residents contacted 911, a team of Sacramento Fire Department first responders arrived at the apartment complex. The cub was breathing when officials found him and was transferred to a neighboring hospital in “critical condition.”

Massiah’s mother, Delvall, was in touch with the boy’s mother, whom Massiah found at the bottom of the pool. She told the press that the baby was well and that it was nothing short of a “miracle.” Massiah had learned to swim at an early age. His ability enabled him to save the life of another cub, making his father, Marcus Browne, proud of him.

Although Marcus was aware that Massiah swam like a “fish,” he was nonetheless taken aback when he learned that his son had saved the life of another cub. He described Massiah as a “good boy” during an interview.
