The topics that go viral on social media are not always dramatic or contentious ones. After demonstrating her adorable stomps and skips for Irish dance, this 2-year-old child also went famous on Facebook.

Irish dancing is a traditional type of Gaelic or Celtic dance that has its roots in Ireland. According to www.danceus.org, “it can be done as a solo or in groups of up to twenty or more trained dancers.” This sweet little girl preferred to dance in pairs.

She began by clapping and lightly stamping her feet. Then, as if tap dancing, she added some skips. She was carefully mimicking the adult’s movements who were standing next to her. Millions of people have literally had their hearts warmed by these attempts to dance “the Irish way.” On Facebook, the brief video has already been viewed by 25M users. On YouTube, there are countless more.

The mother who was filming the video was obviously overjoyed with the kid’s development. She was instructing her while also capturing the priceless moment. The man standing next to her was all smiles as they danced with arguably “the youngest and cutest Irish dancer.”

Watching videos like this from time to time is like a breath of fresh air. It is OK to take full advantage of and embrace life’s kindness, comedy, and beauty. Every day, there is something for which we should be grateful.
