Natalie Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied have divorced after 11 years of marriage, citing a number of problems in their marriage as well as an alleged romance between Benjamin and 25-year-old climate activist Camille Étienne.
According to Us Weekly, the 42-year-old actress and the 46-year-old choreographer have chosen to divorce after 11 years of marriage and the birth of their 12-year-old son Aleph and 6-year-old daughter Amalia. Natalie was also seen without her wedding band at the Angel City FC function in Sydney, Australia, on August 4.

“They’ve been trying to work on their marriage since news of his affair came out, but they’re currently on the outside,” one source told the tabloid. The former couple had previously been rumored to be trying to work things out, but it appears that they are now splitting up.

Following the revelation of the alleged adultery, another insider told Us Weekly that they were unsure whether they could recover their relationship. “Right now, they are talking and working on it together for the sake of their children,” the source stated at the time, adding that Benjamin “regrets” what transpired.
They met on the set of Darren Aronofsky’s 2009 movie ‘Black Swan,’ where they worked together. “I met my husband on it, so I think I was in, like, dreamland,” Portman told SiriusXM in 2018. “He was showing me how to dance.” One of those romantic [tales], you know… It was definitely thrilling and enjoyable. It was stunning. I’m not sure about immediate. It was almost as though I got to know him and realized, ‘Oh, this is the person.'”
