After Miranda Lambert chastises her and her friends for taking selfies during her performance, Adela Calin responds…

On July 15, during a Miranda Lambert performance in Las Vegas, social media influencer Adela Calin, 43, was having a fun-filled Saturday night with her friends when the country music star abruptly ended the celebration. Near the end of the performance, the group was posing for a picture when they were called out.

The vocalist abruptly stopped singing and turned to the audience. A fellow concertgoer caught Lambert saying, “I’m going to stop right here for a sec,” midway through a song. It irritates me a little bit that these females are preoccupied with taking a picture rather than paying attention to the song.

The group of pals were only attempting to take a snapshot of the moment when the audience applauded in support of Lambert, further humiliating them. As the video clip gained popularity, Lambert’s backing dwindled, and social media users began to stand up for Calin and her pals. Calin is now speaking up.

Adela Calin estimated that it took them at most 30 seconds to snap the photo before they sat back down, adding that they ‘took the photograph swiftly and were going to sit back down. Miranda Lambert was already in the middle of interrupting her song to call the group out before they could reach that point.

Calin expressed her shock at Lambert’s treatment of them in front of so many people, calling it “appalling.” Despite having some of the finest seats in the house, she and her friends had been attempting to take a decent picture at the event, but the lighting was never ideal. That is, up until that point, when everything went crazy.

After Lambert’s remarks, Adela Calin decided to post the two photographs to Instagram for the benefit of her followers. She captioned the photo, saying, “These are the two pictures we were taking when Miranda Lambert stopped her concert and told us to sit down and not take selfies.”

She remarked, “I felt like I was back in school, getting scolded by the instructor for doing something wrong, and being told to sit down back in my place.” … She seemed intent on portraying us as impressionable, immature and conceited. But all we were doing was attempting to capture a photo as adult ladies in our 30s to 60s.

Fans’ opinions on who was right and who was wrong have varied throughout the days since the video and following photo went viral, according to Miranda Lambert and Adela Calin. While some fans believe Lambert’s remarks were harsh, others believe Calin and her pals were wrong to snap the picture.

“I observed how she treated you, women, as I was seated just behind the pit. Additionally, I later saw your faces. I’m speechless at how she behaved. To be really honest, I’m revolted. I’m sorry you encountered that side of fame. The video of her instructing you all to sit down is one I have. It’s really disgusting,” one person said.

You’re standing up in front of her with your backs to her while she sings an extremely emotional song about her divorce in an attempt to gain your chance. “You selected one of her most private songs to get up and snap a selfie,” one commenter congratulated Lambert, while another said, “Good for her. Absolutely rude.

Although everyone will have their own interpretation of what happened at that concert, we now know how Adela Calin and her companions felt. Sadly, Miranda Lambert has not yet provided more commentary on what she stated during the show. If it changes in the future, we’ll just have to wait and watch.
