Alfonso Ribeiro, star of ‘Fresh Prince,’ shares heartbreaking photo of his daughter

The little girl, who fell off her sit-down scooter the day before her fourth birthday, had emergency surgery on May 12 to avoid scarring.

In a Facebook post, Alfonso congratulated the medical professionals at Kare MD Skin Health and provided images of his daughter’s wounds, which included serious burns on her right elbow, shoulder, and the region surrounding her right eye. He also showed admiration for Ava’s bravery.

Meanwhile, Angela, Ava’s mother, commented on the specifics of her daughter’s tragedy, stating that she had a horrible feeling that morning that Ava would be in danger. She described it as “a vision or motherly intuition” in her writing.

“I told the family, kids, sitter, and friends who were helping me prepare for Ava’s birthday party that ‘we are not doing anything crazy or dangerous today that could potentially end up with an ER visit.'” When I shouted these words, I practically made everyone’s eyes lock on me.”

However, it was clear that no one took Angela’s warning seriously enough since Ava fell from her scooter immediately after she delivered it.

Ava was sent to Kare MD Skin Health immediately after the accident to visit Dr. Raffy in order to limit the chance of future scarring.

“Not a fun way to spend your last day as a 3-year-old, but she was a trooper,” Angela said.

“Giving this adorable girl extra hugs tonight.”

The Kare MD Skin Health team wished Ava a happy birthday on their Instagram page on May 12.

“Thank you very much, Alfredo, for your kind words.” We are privileged to look after your darling princess, Ava. “Best wishes for a speedy recovery,” they captioned the photo.

I think we can all agree that it’s scary every time one of our infants is injured. Thank heavens, Alfonso and Angela’s baby is doing well!
