Amber Heard shares her new career plans with fans following her decision to change her identity and relocate to Spain

Amber Heard appears to have fully left the film industry behind her.

Since her tumultuous and extremely public divorce from Johnny Depp, the 39-year-old has created an entirely new life for herself.

She went to Spain and is now a mother of three, having welcomed twins earlier this year.

In May, Heard announced the birth of her two newborns on social media, writing, “Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget.

This year, I am overjoyed to finally have the family I’ve worked so hard to create. Today I formally announce that I have welcomed twins into the Heard family. “My daughter Agnes and son Ocean fill my hands (and heart) full.”

Heard is said that he still resides in a European country after moving there some years ago. In her most recent post, she stated that she lived in Madrid, Spain’s capital.

And it appears that the Aquaman actor goes by the alias Martha Jane Cannary (Calamity Jane’s true name).

Workwise, Heard has abandoned movies in favor of theater. Since June, she has been previewing her work with the Williamstown Theatre Festival on her Instagram.

Heard starred in Spirit of the People, and her run of shows has recently ended.

The play is partly Spanish, which Heard speaks fluently.

After Spirit of the People’s run ended over the weekend, Heard posted a photo of herself surrounded by bouquets of flowers.

“Thank you to all of my fans and supporters for making this already unforgettable weekend so much more beautiful,” she said. She continued: “The flowers won’t last forever, but the memories of all the love and support I received through this will.”

Heard has gotten high praise for her performance.

Vanity Fair wrote of the star: “Amber Heard’s command of the stage is exceptional, especially for someone making her professional theatrical debut.” Her character, one of the three emotional anchors in the rambunctious, frequently bizarre drama, shares similarities with Blanche DuBois and her contemporaries: a fiery history and a slipping hold on reality.

“Heard is not only eloquent and beautiful (and fluent in Spanish), but she embodies the fragility and resilience of a classic Tennessee Williams heroine.”

Her admirers have also applauded Heard. Someone commented on her Instagram post: “Congratulations on a tremendously successful run with your show! It was a pleasure and privilege to witness you play, and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish next.”

“You deserve it,” another person commented.
