Michael Grimm, the blues and soul singer-songwriter who captivated the hearts of millions when he ascended the stage of America’s Got Talent and won the fifth season, has been hospitalized due to an unknown ailment.
Lucie Zolverva-Grimm, his wife, shared an emotional video on Instagram.
“For those of you who’ve been out to see Michael the past couple of months, you might have noticed that he was struggling with his health a lot, lacking energy, and not being able to fulfill shows,” she remarked about her husband.
“We ended up taking him to the hospital, to the emergency room.” The physicians were still baffled as to what was wrong with him. But, whatever the problem was, it took over his life on Memorial Day. He was becoming progressively unwell; he could scarcely walk and couldn’t elevate his head. When I asked him questions, he couldn’t always react immediately.”

Doctors suspected a stroke since he was speaking gibberish and experiencing physical tremors at the time, but they quickly confirmed that wasn’t the case.
“His blood pressure was through the roof. He became quite upset as a result of the drugs he was given, and they had to admit him to the intensive care unit,” Lucie explained in her article.
She went on to say that the singer needed to be drugged and put on a ventilator to avoid having a stroke. “Michael has been in intensive care all week.” To keep his health secure, doctors had to place him on a ventilator and extensively sedate him so he wouldn’t stroke out. “So he wouldn’t pass out,” she explained. “I’ve just been in the hospital for a week. Please excuse my emotional state; I’m mentally and physically weary.”

“The good news is that the doctors were finally able to remove the ventilator today, and he is breathing on his own,” Lucie said. He’s doing well. However, his body had been through a lot in the previous week. They keep him drugged to prevent him from seizing or collapsing due to the changing blood pressure.”
She informed her husband’s admirers that, while he began to feel better, physicians were unable to offer him a diagnosis since they were still unsure what caused his health concern. “Essentially, the doctors are isolating individual systems and organs, and we are working our way through it.” There were a few items. We’re taking them out one at a time. He’s getting better, which is a wonderful thing. “It takes time,” she explained.
We are relieved that Michael is feeling better. We wish him a speedy recovery.
