Kelly Clarkson has an announcement for all of her fans after appearing in court. Officially, Kelly Clarkson is no longer Kelly Clarkson. We shall now refer to the American Idol champion and current talk show presenter as Kelly Brianne. Because Clarkson is linked to her well-known brand, the singer has chosen to change her name and use her middle name, Brianne, as her new last name.
The Kelly Clarkson Show will remain under its existing name, and Kelly Brianne will continue to host it. Along with Snoop Dogg, she is presently co-hosting the American Song Contest. She will continue to be referred to as Kelly Clarkson for that competition show.

Following her divorce from her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Brianne said in a prior interview with PEOPLE magazine that she was truly removing her married name, Blackstock. She stated during the interview, “I had to drop my married last name.” She said, “I just kept my middle name for my personal life.”
Kelly made it quite clear that she will continue to be known as Kelly Clarkson when making public appearances. I don’t think I can alter Clarkson at this time, she remarked. Twenty years in, here

When it comes to her profession in the public eye, Kelly Clarkson will continue to go by that name, but in her private life, she will go by Kelly Brianne. A Californian judge formally approved the name change for Clarkson on March 28, 2022.
There being no objections, the petition for a change of name is approved, according to court papers. It has been signed and filed. The petitioner’s name is now Kelly Brianne instead of Kelly Brianne Clarkson.
Prior to finalizing her acrimonious divorce from Brandon Blackstock in February 2022, Clarkson started the process of changing her name to Kelly Breanne. She said that her “desire” to exclusively use her first name and middle name led her to choose her new name. The new name combination, in her opinion, “more fully reflects who I am.”

Before the change in Clarkson’s name became official, she made sure her fans were aware that it would not have an impact on her professional life.
“My married last name has to be dropped because I recently got divorced. For personal use, I just continued using my middle name. Kelly Clarkson stated on the March 21 broadcast of People (the TV Show!) that “I’m still Kelly Clarkson.” At this point, I don’t believe I can alter Clarkson. I’ve been doing this for 20 years.
In June 2020, Clarkson and Blackstock divorced after almost seven years of marriage.
It’s no secret, I mean. Months after breaking up with her boyfriend, she said on the Today program that her life had been somewhat of a dumpster. Personally, I’ve found the past several months to be a little difficult.
What do you think of Kelly Brianne, Kelly Clarkson’s new name? Will you alter the way you address the singer?
