This week, Billie Eilish received ab*se while performing.
The 22-year-old singer was sitting cross-legged on stage at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday, December 13, when something that seemed to be a bracelet smacked her in the face while she was performing her song “What Was I Made For?”
Fan footage on TikTok shows Eilish flinching and turning her head away from the audience before they scream and boo in outrage.
Eilish then proceeded to sing her Oscar-winning song from the Barbie film soundtrack before tossing the thing aside.

Eilish started her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour in late September. After her North American gigs, Eilish has scheduled dates in Europe and Australia starting in February.
During the Barbie global premiere in July 2023, Eilish told The Hollywood Reporter that she had been getting struck on stage for “literally six years,” and she asked fans not to hurl anything.
“People just get excited, and it can be dangerous,” she added.

“It’s absolutely infuriating when you’re up there,” Eilish explained. “I have mixed feelings about it because it’s really windy up there,” Eilish said. However, you recognize that their actions stem from love, and they are simply striving to provide you with something. You’re in a vulnerable situation, but I’ve endured hardships for years.”
In recent years, objects have struck celebrities like Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj, and Harry Styles while they were performing.
In June 2023, a fan threw ashes onto the stage at BST Hyde Park in London, shocking Pink, while a phone strike at The Rootop at Pier 17 left Bebe Rexha with a black eye.
