Billy Ray Cyrus and his new wife, Firerose, just tied the knot. Their formal relationship began in 2022 and culminated in a small, private ceremony.

Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus chose to divorce for the third time after being married for 28 years. This announcement was made in April 2022. Following the divorce, Billy Ray Cyrus had a love interest in Australian musician Firerose. They agreed to announce their engagement in November 2022.

During Firerose’s audition for a role in Hannah Montana thirteen years ago, the two of them had already become friends. The country singer clearly remembered their first meeting.

“There were a couple of old pine trees on the lot that reminded me of Tennessee,” he said. My dog, Tex, and I would walk out there in the middle of the day and watch him do his thing. We’d stretch as I thought about how much I missed Tennessee. Firerose appeared from the front entrance on that specific day. There was a brief flash of, I don’t know, familiarity. “I thought to myself, ‘This girl’s a star.'”

He went on to say, “She mentioned she had an audition, and I said, ‘Well, I’m sure you got the job.'”

Despite the fact that Firerose did not receive the job, Cyrus referred her to a few producers.

“I just thought, well, the casting directors, producers, and writers are all on the floor where we do Hannah Montana.” “And I actually told her, ‘Don’t ever take a strange man’s offer, but in this case, Tex will testify that you will be completely safe,'” he recalled.

“‘I’m going to introduce you to a producer, and you can kind of make yourself at home and watch us rehearse, and you never know, it might lead to a role or just another contact at Disney.” So it was back to the studio for me, her, and Tex. And I believe she met several of the cast members as well as the producers and authors. “And in some ways, well, in a lot of ways, we became friends,” the singer explained.

The two stayed friends until Cyrus asked Firerose to be more than friends following his divorce at the beginning of the year. She moved in with Cyrus in August 2022, shortly after he proposed.

“Billy looked at me and asked, ‘Do you want to marry me?'” And I just said, “Of course I do.” ‘I adore you,'” Firerose remembers the occasion. “‘I love you,’ he said. I’d want to make this official. ‘I want to be with you for the rest of my life.'”

Billy Ray married Firerose a few months after his ex-wife, Tish, remarried. Firerose married “Prison Break” star Dominic Purcell in August 2023.

Tish’s children from previous marriages, Brandi, 36, and Trace, 34, were present, joyfully posing for photographs with Purcell and two of his four children. Billy Ray and Tish had adopted Brandi and Trace after they were married. Miley Cyrus, Braison, and Noah were all present to show their support for the newlyweds.

Notably, Noah and Braison did not attend their mother’s wedding. Instead, they posted pictures of their Walmart excursion on social media, with Noah wearing a Billy Ray shirt.

It’s unknown whether Cyrus’ children attended his wedding to Firerose.
