Chris Stapleton is a well-known country artist who has had a successful career thus far. The vocalist has a distinct flair that appeals to millions of Americans.
This year, Stapleton was granted a privilege few people receive: singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl.

The much-anticipated matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles took place this week. On Sunday, it was formally launched during the 2023 Super Bowl.
Chris Stapleton was the performer chosen this time to play the National Anthem before the celebrations began. The musician took the field wearing his trademark outfit, complete with black sunglasses.
The Kentucky native then sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” for everyone in attendance at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, as well as those watching on television.

Country musicians like Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, and Mickey Guyton had already performed the National Anthem at the event, and now it was Stapleton’s turn to join the illustrious list.
In addition to his singing the National Anthem, the 2023 Super Bowl pregame program includes veteran actress Sheryl Lee Ralph performing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and R&B singer Babyface performing “America the Beautiful.”
Many people were moved by the country singer’s performance. People expressed their feelings about Stapleton’s rendition of the national anthem on social media.

“This is the best star-spangled banner ever.” “Christopher Stapleton, you are incredible,” one person tweeted. “OK, SING IT, CHRIS STAPLETON!” said another. This is a fantastic rendition of the national anthem.”
Chris Stapleton wasn’t always a showman. The singer got his start in the profession as a composer. It wasn’t until much later in his career, in 2015, that he began to build a name for himself as a vocalist. He shared the stage with Justin Timberlake at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards. The pair combined their tracks “Tennessee Whiskey” and Timberlake’s “Drink You Away.”
Stapleton now has scores of accolades to his name after years of hard work. He has about 16 CMAs, eight Grammy Awards, and ten Academy of Country Music Awards, to mention a few.

The artist has previously stated that he sings in a distinct style that may not be to everyone’s taste. “I probably don’t sing like a traditional country singer, you know, but, ultimately, I’m me,” he stated in June 2022. “I’m just trying to be the best version of myself that I possibly can be.”
“And whether that’s playing a song that leans into blues, a song that leans into R&B, or a song that leans into really distinctly outlaw country,” Chris said, I adore all of those songs. And I’m not restricted to playing one sort of tune.”
