Clint Eastwood’s partner Christina Sandera’s cause of death has been released

Eastwood and philanthropist Sandera have been together for more than ten years, residing in Carmel by the-Sea, California.

The 94-year-old award-winning actor and director confirmed the loss of his longtime lover, who was 61 at the time, in a statement on July 18.

The Million Dollar Baby actor’s statement from last Thursday read: “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.”

A Warner Bros. spokeswoman told The Hollywood Reporter that no more information will be shared.

However, Sandera’s cause of death has now come to light.
A Monterey County Health Department spokesman informed the Post that Sandera had heart arrhythmia.

The Mayo Clinic defines a cardiac arrhythmia as “an irregular heartbeat” that results from “faulty electrical signals that tell the heart to beat.” This can cause the heart to beat “too fast or too slow” and “inconsistently.”

While some are ‘harmless’, others might, unfortunately, induce ‘life-threatening symptoms’.

Sandera had atherosclerotic coronary artery disease, according to a spokeswoman for the Monterey County Health Department, which may have also played a role.

“Atherosclerosis is a condition in which your arteries stiffen as a result of plaque accumulation. Plaque contains fat, cholesterol, and other compounds. This plaque formation impedes blood flow. The Cleveland Clinic warns that signs of atherosclerosis may not appear until consequences occur, such as a heart attack or stroke.

Sandera’s death was eventually determined to be the result of a heart attack.
UNILAD has contacted the Monterey County Health Department for more information.

People have taken to social media to express their sympathies to Eastwood.

One Twitter user wrote, “I’m so sorry to hear this, Clint.” Praying for you and your family.”

“I’m awful to hear that! Condolences to Clint and her family.” Another addition.

A third said, “Prayers for them both.” God bless them and their families.

“My heart breaks with you,” a fourth person wrote.
And a fifth replied, “I’m so sorry for your loss; I’ll keep you in my prayers; I’ve loved Clint my entire life; may the Lord comfort you on your journey of grief.” I wish I had the perfect words, but I’m very sorry you’re sad; my thoughts are with Christina’s loved ones.
