Consider an apartment building on the outskirts of town. The father works from morning until evening, and the mother is equally busy during the day, either doing errands or leaving the house to go shopping. As a result, their 6-year-old daughter is frequently left at home alone. Two local crooks learn this and decide to break into the house and take everything one day.

The day comes when the father goes to work and the mother does another errand. The burglars decide to deceive the little girl into opening the door for them. They discreetly ring the doorbell and pose as the mailman, asking if there is an adult present.

The youngster confesses that they are alone at home with “Vasya,” a 3-year-old, and no one else is around. The burglars are overjoyed with this knowledge and rush to open the apartment’s old lock and enter the premises.

However, when they enter, they are faced with something they will never forget.

The large dog charges at them, catching one of the thieves by the neck and hurling him to the ground, while the other criminal stops in horror.
