Every year, kids look forward to class photo day because they get to wear anything they want. However, it is not always enjoyable for certain children. They are concerned about what people may think of their daily attire, and others find it difficult to smile for photographs.
Kaylieann Steinbach, three, was ecstatic the night before her class portrait. She went to bed worrying about what might happen the next day. Her joy was short-lived when she saw the clothing her parents had picked for her.
“This little girl decided to dress herself.”

Kaylieann adores Superman and Supergirl, although she has difficulty pronouncing the letter “S.” As a result, instead of calling them Superman and Supergirl, she refers to them as “Pooterman” and “Pootergirl.”
When it came time to choose her attire for class photographs, she knew just what she wanted to wear. “Pootergirl!” she said as her parents showed her various outfits.
Austin Steinbach, her father, responded, “Well, I couldn’t argue with that answer.”
Kaylieann received her wish as she proudly wore her superhero costume. She was beaming as she posed for photos in her Supergirl costume, carrying a toy.

Kaylieann frequently wears different costumes to school, and both instructors and children look forward to seeing which superhero suit she’ll wear each day, according to Austin.
The response to Kaylieann’s class photo on Reddit surprised Austin. Many individuals offered him encouraging words.
“The reaction and support from the deaf community have been incredible,” he remarked. I have yet to read all of the words of love and support that individuals have offered me. “I never imagined her photo would touch so many people’s hearts,” Austin Steinbach told the Huffington Post.
Kaylieann is a courageous little lady—a true superhero!
