Dwayne Johnson discloses the actual reason for his new ‘slim’ appearance, which has left fans greatly anxious

Dwayne Johnson has disclosed the true reason behind his new appearance after several fans raised their worries.

The Rock is one of the world’s most well-known celebrities, with millions of admirers worldwide thanks to his WWE career, acting gigs, talk show appearances, and general social media stardom.

And while the actor has long been noted for his remarkable body, Johnson’s appearance at the Venice Film Festival last month surprised many of his admirers when he showed off a new slimmer look.

While some fans supported the Fast & Furious star, others expressed their reservations.

The 53-year-old emerged with his The Smashing Machine co-star Emily Blunt at a Miu Miu Women’s Tales event, revealing how much muscle Johnson had lost.

Many people assumed The Rock’s new appearance was in support of his starring part as real-life UFC fighter Mark Kerr in the A24 film The Smashing Machine. Dwayne Johnson stars in the film, alongside Blunt, who plays Dawn Staples, and Bas Rutten, a well-known Dutch MMA fighter who plays himself.

According to reports, Johnson shed almost 60 pounds by lowering to 240 pounds from his typical 300 pounds.

And The Rock has disclosed that he has to thin down even more in the next weeks and months for his latest film, Lizard Music, in which Johnson plays a character named Chicken.

During a career retrospective event at the Toronto Film Festival on Monday (September 8), Johnson remarked, “A little bit of context for you guys: Benny sold me this after we completed The Smashing Machine. After about 45 minutes, his presentation ended, and I replied, ‘I am your Chicken Man.'”

“Now what that means is, without giving too much away, the role that I will play is a very whimsical and eccentric 70-something-year-old man called the Chicken Man, and his best friend is a 70-something-year-old chicken.”

The Hollywood star continued: “I still have a long way to go. I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to morph again, as I did in Smashing Machine.” It means eating less chicken.”

However, The Smashing Machine arrives first, with Johnson expressing his delight about the part during a press presentation for the new film last week.

“When you’re in Hollywood, as we all know, it has become about box office,” he told me. “And you pursue the box office, which can be quite loud, pushing you into a category and a corner.

“This is your lane, and this is what you do, and this is what Hollywood wants you to do.”
