Ellie, a Deal Or No Deal participant, was protected on social media after viewers criticized her yesterday (February 13).
On Thursday’s program, Ellie took the hot seat with the hopes of earning a large cash award.
Yesterday’s episode of Deal or No Deal presented Ellie with a significant opportunity to win. Ellie took her seat and informed Stephen Mulhern that she believes “anything is possible” and that she may win a large monetary award.
“I’m just here to beat the banker,” she explained.
Towards the end of the program, Ellie only had the option of earning £10,000, £2,000, or 50p.
The banker offered her a contract for slightly more than £2,400, but she rejected it.
She then successfully got rid of the 50p box, and the banker offered Ellie £4,825. However, she also turned down that offer.
She opened her box to find that she had won £10,000!
However, some harsh trolls were watching the broadcast yesterday and were quick to blast “rude” and “entitled” Ellie. Many people were upset that she did not say “please” to the banker.
Others were offended when the player advised the banker to make her offer a “decent one.”.

Even the banker felt she was being cheeky when she said that individuals “commonly say please” before asking for a good deal!
Fans were unimpressed with her.
One viewer commented, “I can’t be the only one who thinks this.”
Mean girl energy.
Another Twitter user commented, “She comes off as a nasty and mean girl.” “She was a terrible, rude, entitled brat. Overall, since the performance resumed, the audience has been fantastic. “She is an exception,” a third wrote.
“Mean girl energy,” another said.
Ellie, on the other hand, received a lot of support from social media users yesterday.
“A confident and pretty female contestant called Ellie plays #DealOrNoDeal, and the amount of middle-aged guys giving her stick is very telling and pretty vile,” a fan posted on Twitter.
“Yes, the traditional tale: put a confident, attractive lady in the spotlight, and fragile egos begin to fracture like cheap glass.” Maybe if these guys spent less time whining and more time leveling up, they wouldn’t feel so threatened by a woman who knows her worth,” another person said.
“My goodness, aren’t people rude about people they don’t even know!” Well done, Ellie,” a third person wrote.
“GWARN ELLIE, Awww, I’m so happy for her, man,” another person said.
