Elon Musk has made an outrageous allegation about why two NASA astronauts are locked in orbit.
In June 2024, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore set off on an eight-day mission.
However, after reaching the International Space Station, the two were unable to return to Earth as scheduled due to mechanical faults with their Boeing spacecraft.
While the capsule had already returned to Earth, it was not safe for Williams and Wilmore to board; thus, they stayed aboard the ISS for several months.
The two NASA astronauts will return home soon, more than eight months later than anticipated, according to SpaceX.
NASA stated in a recent report that “NASA and SpaceX are accelerating the target launch and return dates for the upcoming crew rotation missions to and from the International Space Station.”

“The agency’s Crew-10 launch is now scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, subject to mission readiness and the conclusion of the agency’s flight readiness certification procedure. The team-9 mission is scheduled to return to Earth after a multi-day handover phase with the freshly arriving Crew-10 expedition team.”
Following the disaster with Williams and Wilmore’s significantly prolonged stay at the ISS, Elon Musk, SpaceX’s creator, has commented on what transpired.
In an interview with Fox News, Musk asserted that ‘political motivations’ drive the crisis.
“Political reasons left them up there, which is not good,” he said during a joint interview with President Trump.
Musk went further: “Well, we don’t want to be complacent, but we have brought astronauts back from the space station many times before, and always with success.”
Trump also claimed that his predecessor, Joe Biden, was “going to abandon them in space.”

The trio declined to explain how and why Biden would have abandoned Williams and Wilmore in space for political reasons.
Speaking about the next rescue attempt, Musk revealed that Trump had ordered their early return.
“We have brought astronauts back from the space station many times before, and always with success,” the SpaceX founder remarked.
Despite their track record of accomplishment, Musk emphasized that the crew will be ‘very cautious’ regarding the trip.
The SpaceX spacecraft should safely return Williams and Wilmore to Earth in about four weeks.
