‘Euphoria’ star Angus Cloud was found dead by his Mom at home after one week of laying his father to rest

Angus Cloud was born in Oakland, California, on July 10, 1998. Before a casting scout came across him on the street while he was briefly residing in Brooklyn, he had no ambition to become famous.

In the spring of 2023, he revealed his findings and said that he had initially believed it to be a hoax. When he saw that the agent was sincere, he grabbed her business card instead. His companion was also invited, but she rejected it.

In the future, Cloud developed into an actor, appearing in such well-known films as “Euphoria,” “Your Lucky Day,” “The Line,” “North Hollywood,” and the untitled monster thriller for Universal Pictures from 2024. He took on the character of Oakland-based drug dealer Fezco in “Euphoria.”

Sadly, it was found that Cloud had passed away a few weeks after his most recent birthday.

At his Oakland home, Cloud unexpectedly passed away at the age of 25 on July 31, 2023, according to his family. He was “an incredible human,” a friend, an artist, a brother, and a son who was special to them in many ways, according to his family, who lamented his passing.

The week before he passed away, Cloud said he “intensely struggled” with losing Conor Hickey, his best friend. He also laid his father to rest. The actor had struggled with mental health challenges, and his family hoped that his passing would serve as a reminder to others that they are not alone and shouldn’t battle illnesses in silence.

His family took solace in his being reunited with his deceased father, who on July 14, 2023, showed up on his son’s Instagram account dressed in a red coat and matching slacks. In March 2022, when Cloud defended “Euphoria” against claims that it encouraged the use of illicit drugs, TMZ had its final interview with the celebrity.

Surprisingly, the actor—who made brief appearances in the music videos of well-known musicians—seemed to have died as a result of the same illicit drugs. According to reports, Hickney’s passing caused him to turn to the wrong things since he was unable to deal with the loss.

His family wants Cloud to be cherished in memory for his joy, wit, and love of all people.

According to a source, the actor suffered from terrible suicidal thoughts after returning from Ireland, the homeland of his mother, where he had laid to rest his father. He elected to stay with them while trying to get over his loss; thus, he was at an Oakland family house when he passed away.

On the day of Cloud’s death, about 11:30 a.m., Lisa Cloud McLaughlin called the Oakland Police Department and Fire Department, according to TMZ’s 3:30 p.m. update on the case. She reported a “possible overdose,” mentioning that her son was not breathing.

On the spot, the actor was determined to be dead. The actor revealed how little he cared about celebrity in a February 2022 interview when he said he preferred it if no one recognized him since he didn’t want to be treated differently.

His family wants Cloud to be cherished in memory for his joy, wit, and love of all people. The actor’s younger twin sisters, Molly and Fiona, as well as the rest of the grieving family, want privacy as they absorb the “devastating loss.”

The network where “Euphoria” aired, HBO, expressed its “extreme sadness” after learning of Cloud’s passing. It expressed its sincere sympathies to his family and friends and mentioned that Zendaya’s co-star was a brilliant and adored member of their family.
