Chef Brian Kidwell of Los Angeles was performing well in the summer of 2018. He and his adored girlfriend were planning a wedding and a restaurant with a buddy. However, in mid-August, an event happened that might gravely jeopardize these plans. Brian struck his head on a rock while surfing, breaking one cervical vertebra and cracking the other.
The American was instantly rendered immobile from the neck down. Kidwell had already begun to sink when the bride realized something was amiss, and rescuers dragged him out of the sea, he wrote on Facebook. He was rushed to the hospital and given an MRI. According to Brian, it was discovered that he had a damaged spinal cord and required urgent surgery, to which he readily consented.

I was vomiting the next thing I knew as the physicians inserted an endotracheal tube into my windpipe. I seemed to have slept for many days, yet these were the most difficult for my loved ones. I awoke with my parents nearby. I can’t imagine their shock when they saw their eldest child in this condition.
The individual started recuperating shortly after the procedure. He set himself projects that were insurmountable at first glance. Brian claimed to have had an “incredibly difficult time.” But the efforts paid off: after a little more than a month, the American was already walking with the assistance of others. Three months later, he was able to walk without the need for a cane.

Kidwell, on the other hand, believes that the cause of his recovery is not so much his tenacity as it is luck, the desire to accomplish goals, and, of course, the complete support of loved ones. The man’s spouse did not desert him and, together with Brian, conquered obstacles. After a year had passed since the tragedy, the lady presented her boyfriend with a video collection of his triumphs and tough situations. “A year ago, I almost lost you, but life gave you a second chance,” the American said.
The video shows Kidwell walking from a hospital bed to a wedding ceremony. He is just now beginning to relearn how to move his limbs.
Brian learned to move his arms and legs far better than he learned to move around. He began by taking steps, leaning on a walker, then on other people. When the guy attempted to walk on his own, it was clear how difficult he found it.

The film culminates with an American’s wedding, during which, as shown in the picture, he did not use a walker or canes. You can see how it went in the video.
Brian’s video has gotten 27,000 likes. Users confess to sobbing while viewing the video in the comments. Many people are astounded by Kidwell’s quick advancement. And, of course, the support he received from his now-wife.
I’m sobbing. A lot can be conquered by love. May all of my love accompany you on your journey!
