Gisele Bündchen walked the Met Gala red carpet for the first time after her divorce from Tom Brady. The supermodel looked stunning in a white vintage Chanel gown with a beautiful feathered cape. Bündchen and Tom Brady walked the Met Gala red carpet 11 times during their relationship.

The red carpet at the Met Gala has long been a location for celebrity relationship debuts, but it’s also seen some significant breakups (and vengeance gowns, à la Princess Diana).
So, she didn’t hold back when Gisele Bündchen made her first solo appearance at fashion’s biggest night since her divorce from Tom Brady.
The supermodel looked stunning in a classic white Chanel gown that shone from head to toe and a matching feathery cloak with a long, flowing train. The heavenly appearance was appropriate for the former Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Bündchen previously wore the Chanel combination in a 2007 picture session for the magazine’s Korea edition, according to Harper’s Bazaar. She was one of several celebrities who paid tribute to the legendary design brand in celebration of the theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” on Monday night.

Bündchen is making her first Met Gala appearance since walking the red carpet with Brady in 2019. According to E!, the pair has attended the Met Gala 11 times since they began dating in December 2006, and they even acted as co-chairs in 2017.

Bündchen initially appeared at the Met Gala in the 1990s. And, as she demonstrated on Monday night, this fashion icon is here to stay, regardless of the headlines.
