Rita Wilson posts a nice snapshot of Tom Hanks in honor of the couple’s 35th wedding anniversary

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are marking a significant event: their 35th wedding anniversary!

Wilson marked the occasion by posting a photo of Hanks gifting her with a cake on social media.

“It’s been 35 years of marriage.” April 30, 1988. “It’s all about love,” she wrote.

The pair initially met on the set of Bosom Buddies in 1981. Hanks was married to Samantha Lewes, his college love at the time, and thus their connection began as friends.

“I’ll admit that I thought there was something really special about her from the start.” When I saw her, I thought, ‘Oh Lord,’ there’s something cooking here,” the 66-year-old actor said on the podcast “Sooo Many White Guys.”

Hanks and Wilson married in 1988 after dating for two years. Chester “Chet” Hanks and Truman Theodore Hanks are the couple’s two children.

There is no key to everlasting love, according to Hanks and Wilson.

“You know, I wish there was a secret. We really like each other. You begin there. I still can’t believe my wife goes out with me. I’d never have had the bravery to talk to her if we were in high school, and I was simply hilarious.” Hanks revealed this to People in 2018.

“They say it must be difficult labor.” No, it isn’t. You know, you have to get over some stuff every now and then, but life is one darn thing after another, and it’s really more enjoyable to be able to go home with someone you enjoy spending time with in order to get over it.”

Tom and Rita, congratulations! Thirty-five years is a significant milestone, particularly in Hollywood.
