Great Granny rescues six grandchildren and receives a Christmas miracle!

Life is inherently unexpected. Occasionally, we will encounter tasks beyond our expectations. Ella Setzler, a 72-year-old widow, was protecting six of her grandchildren.

It was a challenge. Fortunately, the elderly lady had wonderful friends who were always keeping an eye out for her. When the elderly woman fell on heavy things, her dearest friend moved in to help her, sparking a miracle Christmas.

Let’s expand on the scenario.

Although it may look difficult, the 72-year-old widow has adopted all six of her great-grandchildren. She believes it is really worthwhile.

“I have to protect and care for them because they are my whole world,” the 72-year-old stated, putting her feelings of love into words.

However, it is much more difficult than it looks; she faces several challenges when caring for her great-grandchildren.
The grandma wasn’t making much money; therefore, the family’s financial situation was dire. Her earnings were insufficient to provide for her six great-grandchildren and pay the mounting debts.

She, like most of us, had to pay for her monthly rent, vehicle, utilities, and childcare expenses. In addition, her home had a water leak that would cost her $900. She simply lacked the financial wherewithal to keep up with everything.

Fortunately, she had one good friend who kept a close watch on her. The friend appeared to be a real-life Alice from Wonderland. Alice was aware that Ella needed support. But Alice couldn’t assist Ella with everything.

“She’s in pain, and I’m in pain because I cannot assist her,” Alice told me.

Even though Alice couldn’t satisfy all of Ella’s needs, she knew where to go for help. She called FOX5’s Surprise Squad, which takes referrals for community members in need of assistance.

The squad arrived as soon as the request received approval.

Ella broke into sobs as soon as she realized what was happening. Ms. Alice suddenly appeared in the scene, and the two friends hugged each other tightly, filled with emotion.

Numerous individuals assisted Ms. Ella.

They stepped in, together with Southern Nevada and Aqua Plumbing, to assist her with her water issues for free. Ms. Ella was unable to control her feelings, and tears began to pour as a result of that gesture of kindness.

The squad’s assistance extended beyond managing her cash flow. Because she was an elderly woman, the support personnel clearly recognized the need to allow her some downtime.

A limousine arrived, driving her and Ms. Alice away for a spa day.

However, the twists and turns kept coming.

The entire Surprise Squad crew magnificently decorated Ms. Ella’s house for Christmas. They completely cleaned the house and refurbished it with new furniture.

They also placed a Christmas tree.

The squad purchased Christmas presents for each of Ms. Ella’s children. The squad gave each youngster a $500 gift card.

Though the largest surprise was still on the way, United Nissan decided to pay her rent for a year.

Ms. Ella is 72 years old but still a lovely spirit with incredible humanity; thus, the company’s founders felt compelled to help. All of this was astonishing; she couldn’t stop herself when she found out the fantastic news.

Her emotions were exploding.

“The Lord has answered my prayers!” Trust the Lord, and He will provide for you. “He cleared the way for me.” Ella used tears to convey her thanks and praise.

The occurrence has been a watershed moment in the lives of the courageous 72-year-old and his six children. This is all due to true companionship.

Once Ms. Ella fixes the water issue and stops paying her rent, her expenses will drastically decrease.

Furthermore, they have provided her great-grandchildren and the entire family with an amazing vacation.

“This isn’t about gifts.” One of Ella’s great-grandchildren added, “It’s about loving your family.”
