Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will be spending New Year’s Eve separately this year. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Stefani explained that she was initially planning to be at Shelton’s show but received an offer to perform in Vegas. Despite her previous experience in Vegas, Stefani decided to take on the opportunity. Shelton is set to perform at New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash.

Stefani, 54, mentioned that she’ll be flying in and out for the Vegas performance and expressed her excitement about it. When asked about her New Year’s resolution, she mentioned wanting to “put out a record.” On the wellness front, she hopes to be more “consistent,” and her romance-focused resolution is to “keep loving.”

In a separate interview earlier in the month, Shelton, 47, shared his New Year’s resolution with Entertainment Tonight. He humorously mentioned the challenge of cutting back on drinking, saying, “I haven’t managed to stop drinking yet. Even cutting back has been hard. I mean, it’s a resolution though. And I’ll say it again right now — that’s my New Year’s resolution. To either cut back or stop drinking altogether. Let’s just say I said it.”
Stefani and Shelton tied the knot on July 3, 2021, at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch. Stefani’s three sons—Kingston, 17, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 9—were in attendance. In a previous interview, Stefani expressed her surprise at getting married and shared a touching moment from their wedding when Shelton played her a song he had written for her.

The couple met in 2014 on the set of The Voice and began dating. Stefani described falling for Shelton and his down-to-earth life as an amazing gift, saying, “He’s changed my life.”
