Gwyneth Paltrow considers herself fortunate to have Jennifer Aniston as a friend.

“Are you and Jennifer Aniston friends?” Paltrow, 51, was asked as she addressed questions from her Instagram fans on Thursday via her Instagram Story.

“Yes, I am so lucky,” Paltrow wrote, posting a snapshot of herself and Aniston, 54, kissing on the cheek.

Aniston was among the celebrities who attended Paltrow’s engagement celebration for now-husband Brad Falchuk in 2018.

Both were previously involved with Brad Pitt. Pitt, now 59, and Paltrow dated from 1994 to 1997, while Aniston was married to the actor from 2000 to 2005.

Paltrow, who married Falchuk in 2018, discussed a variety of issues in her Instagram Story Q&A session, ranging from how to develop a love connection with a Pisces like Falchuk, 52, to her greatest parenting advice.

Paltrow was also asked about her connection with Dakota Johnson, who is dating Paltrow’s ex-husband, Chris Martin.

“We’re actually very good friends,” Paltrow explained, adding, “I adore her.” She’s a sweet, great lady.”

Johnson began dating Martin, 46, in 2017, following the divorce of Coldplay musician Chris Martin and Paltrow, who “consciously uncoupled” in 2014.

Paltrow and Martin have two children, Apple (19) and Moses (17), and she is a stepmother to Falchuk’s daughters Isabella (19) and Brody (17).

Paltrow previously revealed in an Instagram Q&A in August that merging her family with Falchuk’s was difficult at first.

“You know, there’s no instruction manual for this; no one tells us what to do.” “In fact, all of the existing media surrounding what a stepmother is portrays us in this evil, villainous light,” Paltrow stated at the time. “It’s a bit like trying to avoid land mines.” Then you’re going to be in a household with dynamics. And there’s a lot of anxiety about loss, and who is this person?”

“But for myself, the minute I decided and fully embodied the idea that my stepkids were my kids and I loved them just as much and I gave them the same rules and boundaries and just kind of wholeheartedly went for it, then the easier the whole thing got,” she said. “And now it’s pretty great.”
