Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave Celebrity Big Brother UK after producers cautioned him about his disrespectful behavior and use of foul language on set.
On Saturday, April 21, the 72-year-old Sin City actor opted to leave the program after a confrontation with fellow roommate Chris Hughes.
“Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behavior,” a Celebrity Big Brother representative tells PEOPLE in a statement.
The representative stated that, while no physical altercation occurred, Rourke used language that was “threatening and aggressive.”

Earlier this week, the Oscar contender received a warning for making improper remarks about another roommate, JoJo Siwa.
During the April 9 show, Rourke asked Siwa, 21, if she prefers guys or girls. She said, “Girls.” “My partner is non-binary.”
“If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore,” the actor then claimed, causing Siwa to respond, “I can guarantee I’ll still be gay and in a very happy relationship.”
The Wrestler star went on to claim that he would “tie” up Siwa before fellow housemates Hughes, 32, and Ella Rae approached him about his job.
When the topic turned to how the voting process works, Rourke said, “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.”
“That’s homophobic if that was your reasoning,” Siwa said.
Later, Rourke stated, “I need an f–,” alluding to the British slang term for “cigarette,” but then he nodded toward Siwa and continued, “I’m not talking about you.”
Show producers threatened to “remove Rourke from the Big Brother house” in an interview if he continued to use foul language.
“My apologies. He said, “I don’t have dishonorable intentions.” “I am just talking garbage, you know. I wasn’t taking it all that seriously. I didn’t mean any evil intentions, and if I did, I apologize.”

A spokesman for ITV told Variety at the time, “All housemates receive respect and inclusion training, as well as an extensive briefing from the Big Brother senior team, to prepare them for living in the house and to establish Big Brother’s expectations for appropriate behavior and language.” We monitor the housemates 24 hours a day and promptly address any incidents of unacceptable behavior.
Before opting to leave the show, Rourke faced the threat of becoming the first person evicted from the CBB UK house this season, as Siwa was given the extraordinary ability to select one housemate to face the public vote.
Typically, after receiving the most votes from their fellow housemates, a fixed number of competitors receive eviction nominations.
Siwa said Rourke made her “killer nomination choice pretty easy,” after making homophobic remarks to her previously.
Only a few days had passed since Rourke’s incident with Siwa, when the actor faced criticism for acting aggressively toward presenter AJ Odudu upon entering the house.
Co-host Will Best remarked, “Careful, Mickey,” after the actor “grabbed” and “ogled” Odudu, 37.
