“I was looking in the face of Christ.” Comatose Child shares his experience…

After a fatal bike accident, a 13-year-old kid spent days in the hospital, lying motionless on the bed. When his parents had given up hope, the kid suddenly opened his eyes and shared astounding facts about his encounter with Christ.

Every parent wants their children to succeed. They long to see their child grow up and live happily ever after. No parent wants to witness their child fight for life in a hospital bed, and the very notion sends shivers down their spine.

While their son was in a coma, the parents in today’s tale suffered through the darkest time of their lives. They had given up hope and were about to say their last goodbyes when something unexpected happened. Their adolescent boy suddenly opened his eyes and began giggling.

Micah Anderson, 13, liked riding motocross with his brother, Josiah Anderson. When the brothers joined a riding facility in South Carolina, they had been enjoying the thrill of this dangerous activity for more than a year.

Katja Anderson, Micah’s mother, described him as “just a very funny goofball, very kind and gentle,” but she had no idea how one incident would impact her teenager’s life forever. She wasn’t expecting what was going to happen.

On Josiah’s birthday in July 2013, the Anderson brothers went to the motocross track. Josiah followed Micah’s lead on the track but couldn’t pull the brakes when his brother’s bike jumped and fell to the ground. Micah was hit in the head by Josiah’s bike.

As soon as Josiah comprehended what had happened, his heart began to speed. He hurriedly rose up and attempted to revive Micah, but it failed. He then hopped on his bike and hurried to alert his father, Shawn Anderson, of the accident.

“I think Micah is dead,” Josiah said to his father, struggling to regain his breath. Shawn held Micah’s lifeless corpse in his arms for 45 minutes before rescuers came and flew Micah to the nearest hospital. “He was grey, barely breathing, like a little whimper,” Shawn recounted. And every time he inhaled, “I’m thinking, ‘Is he dead?'”

While Shawn, Katja, and Josiah prayed for a miracle, the physicians were not optimistic after inspecting Micah’s brain injuries. According to the experts’ research, Micah’s recovery was nearly impossible.

Shawn was going by Micah’s bed one day when he stubbed his toe. Micah laughed at the next thing he knew.

“We heard words like ‘life support.'” “We were expecting that there would be no recovery,” Katja recounted. Meanwhile, Shawn couldn’t believe his son’s odds of life were so slim. He was unable to accept the facts.

Katja’s heart had been broken by her son’s failure to respond to therapy. She sobbed uncontrollably as she prayed for Micah’s recovery. She recalls praying to God for her son to “be like the Micah he always was.”

The word of the fatal motocross accident quickly circulated. Thousands of people across the world prayed for Micah’s rapid recovery, joining friends and family of the Andersons. They were eager for him to awaken from his coma as soon as possible. Katja stated:

“We had millions of people praying for us, and I had that deep, deep peace from the start that even if Micah did not recover, this is ok.”

The Andersons’ following six months were nothing short of a nightmare. As the physicians attempted various procedures to wake Micah up, his body tremors worsened, making it difficult for Katja and Shawn to witness their baby in anguish. The frightened mother recalled:

“I recall coming to a point where we had to say, ‘We’re going to let him go completely, completely.'”

The physicians gave up after attempting many procedures. They informed Katja and Shawn that there was nothing further they could do to bring Micah back to life. He would spend the rest of his life lying on the bed with no expression.

Because the physicians were no longer treating Micah, they told the Andersons to take him home. It was tough for Katja and Shawn to watch Micah unconscious on his bed. They couldn’t believe he was the same adolescent who liked motocross.

Shawn was going alongside Micah’s bed one day when he stubbed his toe against it. Micah laughed at the next thing he knew. He’d been waiting for this giggle for nearly three months. Shawn rose swiftly and sat on a chair beside Micah’s bed.

The surprised father laughed and joked with Micah, who couldn’t stop giggling. Shawn was overjoyed to see his kid resurrect. He alerted the medics, who subsequently confirmed Micah’s responsiveness. However, he was still unable to talk or move.

Micah had several therapies after awakening. He began speaking a few months later and shared a stunning secret he had longed to tell his parents. Micah claimed to have encountered Jesus in heaven while in a coma. He went on to say,

“I turned around and saw Christ’s face, and the angels were just worshiping Him.” There was no way to explain how happy I felt.”

When Micah inquired why Jesus wished to send him back, Christ said, “They must know about my love and My Father’s love for everyone, no matter what they have done, how I love them, forgive them, and accept them if they come to the cross.”

The unexpected incident had a significant impact on Micah’s life. He now likes sharing his love for Christ in front of others in order to help them heal. Despite his mobility limitations, Micah remains driven. He sees his life as an opportunity to make other people happy.
