If someone tells you there are no miracles, just tell them this story…

After a tornado devastated Clarksville, Tennessee, an extraordinary story of survival emerged. Tragically, the storm devastated the Hol Park Mobile Home Community, killing three people. Amidst the pandemonium, a four-month-old infant named Lord had an incredible survival tale to tell.

Sydney Moore, Lord’s mother, described her terrifying experience during the tornado. While she was shielding her one-year-old son, Princeton, her partner rushed to save Lord, who was in a bassinet. Surprisingly, when the storm struck with such force, it swept the bassinet, along with the tiny Lord inside, into the air. The Lord miraculously stayed in the bassinet despite the powerful storm tossing it around.

Once the tornado finished, Moore’s first instinct was to find her baby among the ruins. What occurred next was quite astonishing: they located Lord perched on a tree with a nasty cut on his face. Despite his injuries, Lord survived, which Moore considers nothing short of a miracle. To receive medical assistance, the family had to negotiate the damaged environment. Lord sustained injuries to his head and ear, and his shoulder was shattered. A shattered bassinet outside their home acts as a continuous reminder of the family’s tragic ordeal and fortitude.
