On January 26, 2022, the world commemorated the 13th birthday of the most famous surviving octuplets case. The eight babies—two girls and six boys—who were born via cesarean section in the United States on January 26, 2009, garnered international attention. Their mother, 34-year-old Nadya Suleman, who had had six children before, raised all 14 of them without the help of a father.

Suleman claims that by transferring 12 embryos, her doctor tricked her, leading to the IVF conception of all of her children.
Because of his ethical violations, Suleman lost his medical license, and his case led to stricter regulations on IVF treatments in the US.

Nadya, also known as “Octomom,” drew both acclaim and criticism. Nadya maintains that she loves her children and does not seek them for celebrity or financial gain, despite her attempts to profit from her story through reality programs and other enterprises.

Although they do not now live in poverty, the Suleman family does have a simple life. By sharing images of her octuplets on social media, Nadya frequently advocates for veganism and healthy living.

Despite the difficulties, the family appears to be content and doing well.
