Jada Pinkett finally discusses rumors about her divorce from Will Smith…

Despite their seven-year separation, Jada Pinkett Smith has stated that she has no intention to divorce Will Smith.

Jada stunned the entertainment industry earlier on Wednesday (October 11) with the revelation, given that they looked to be a couple to the public.

The 52-year-old’s disclosure comes more than two decades after she and Will married in 1997, while Jada was expecting their oldest child, Jaden.

Jada shared the shocking revelation ahead of the release of her new book, Worthy, which is due out next week.

In an interview with People, Jada revealed how she first met Will in Hollywood.

Following his divorce from his first wife, Sheree Zampino, the actor contacted Jada and said, “Who are you going out with?”

Will reportedly said to her when he found out she was unmarried, “Well, you’re going out with me now.”

“Can you believe I fell for that?” Jada stated this during the interview.

“Will you call me one day and say, ‘Hit me when you get to L.A.’ and then… click?” ‘Whoa,’ I thought. Okay. So when I arrived in Los Angeles, I contacted him. I haven’t been able to shake him since.”

However, when asked about their current relationship, Jada stated, “We’re still figuring it out.” We’ve been doing some heavy lifting together.

“We just have a deep love for each other, and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.”

Jada also mentioned how supportive her children, Jaden and Willow, as well as Trey, whom Will has with Zampino, had been.

“My children are mini-gurus.” “They’ve instilled in me a strong sense of self-acceptance,” she explained.

“They adore every aspect of me. The degree of unconditional affection they have for me and their father

“It’s one thing to desire to be the one who provides unconditional love. And then there’s the matter of being the recipient of that.”

While they have been apart for some time, Jada has stated that she will ‘never divorce’ Will.

Jada opened her interview with Hoda Kotb on the Today show by describing why her marriage to Will ended.

“By the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted from trying,” she explained. I believe we were both caught in our vision of what the other person should be.”

While Jada pondered divorce, she ultimately chose not to pursue it.

“I made a promise that there would never be a reason for us to get a divorce,” she said.

“We’ll work through whatever comes up.” And I’ve just been unable to breach that vow.”

The complete interview with Jada will run on NBC on Friday (October 13) at 8 p.m. ET.
