If you’re anything like me, you’ll have to strain your brain to remember the name Angus T. Jones.

If you recall “Jake” from Two and a Half Men, you’ll quickly remember the charming and clever young man who lived with his father, Alan Harper (Jon Cryer), and uncle, Charlie (Charlie Sheen). You could also ask what happened to the actor who played him (Angus T. Jones). At one point, the kid actor appeared to be a rising star with a promising future in the entertainment world.

However, sightings of Jones are becoming increasingly rare. He almost disappeared after his tenure on Two and a Half Men ended more than a decade ago, and his most recent acknowledged TV appearance was on an episode of Horace and Pete in 2016.

This might explain why a new photo of the now-30-year-old is generating such a fuss. The former kid star is unrecognizable in the photo!

Angus T. Jones’ departure from Two and a Half Men looked to be one of TV’s biggest mysteries at the time. During his time on the program, the previously unknown Jones rose to become one of the highest-paid child performers on television, reputedly earning $300,000 per episode at the peak of the comedy. Then, almost 10 years ago, he quit the program, saying in 2012 that he had no plans to return for its eleventh season.

In a 2014 interview with KHOU, Jones stated, “I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t OK with it, but I was still doing it.”

According to sources, Angus conducted extensive soul-searching in 2012, which led to him discovering a new religious path and regaining his religion.

He joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a Protestant Christian denomination recognized for its emphasis on food and health, as well as its strict beliefs and lifestyle.

Many people have forgotten about the fresh-faced lad who charmed millions with his humor and philosophical remarks. Angus supposedly relocated to Colorado and studied theology at the University of Colorado Boulder.

“Going to college was something I was really, really excited about,” he told People in 2016.

He continued, “I wasn’t the center of everyone’s attention, and that was nice.”

However, a new photograph of the former child star has surfaced, and it has sparked a lot of discussion online.

In the photo, the once-fresh-faced, clean-shaven Jones wore a large beard and glasses, leaving many stunned by his apparent metamorphosis over the years!

According to Page Six, Jones appeared “unrecognizable.” One reviewer said he “doesn’t look healthy.”

A user commented, “[…] What happened to him!!” “He became one and a half men,” said one person.

Many of Jones’ supporters supported him, commenting, “Of course, he’s unrecognizable…” He was a youngster on the program, and now it’s years later.”
