Jason Momoa’s fiancée has responded to his surprising new appearance after he shaved off his beard.

The Game of Thrones veteran released an Instagram video of himself cutting off his legendary beard, which has left his followers stunned.

Why has he shaved his beard, you ask? He shaved his beard to promote his new bottled water brand, Mananalu.

To decrease the use of single-use plastic, the bottled water is packaged in a reusable aluminum bottle.

He’s also expected to be clean-shaven for his next part in Dune 3.

“Haven’t shaved in six years, and here we are again,” Momoa captioned the video. “I founded @mananalu to help eradicate single-use plastics. We’re now taking it a step further, collaborating with our team at @Getboomerangwater to implement a closed-loop system that sanitizes and bottles water on-site.”

Momoa continued, “That means even less trash, a smaller transportation footprint, and our metal bottles being reused again and over. This is the future, and we are starting in Hawaii.

“Let’s eliminate single-use plastic. For our children and the earth.” All my aloha, J.”

In the video, Momoa stated that he ‘hated’ his new look, but his 16.8 million Instagram followers have been nicer to his baby-face appearance.

“He is attractive regardless of what. Someone remarked, “Thanks for using your platform for good, @prideofgypsies.”

Another person agreed: “You look great, and the work you’re doing is so very important.”

A third person wrote, “You look great either way!!!!”

Others claimed that the 45-year-old actor appeared younger without a beard.

Momoa’s girlfriend also reacted to the post. He is dating Adria Arjona, who stars in Hit Man and Andor.

The pair went public with their romance on social media in May 2024, and they have since been at a few red carpet events together.

Arjona, like many of his followers, expressed her support for her beau’s surprise new appearance by responding to his popular post with a stream of heart emojis.

Momoa had been married to Lisa Bonet for four of their 16 years together before meeting Arjona.

Bonet filed for divorce from the Dune star in 2024.

In a joint statement, they announced their shocking split in 2022, saying, “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times…” Our family is experiencing and adapting to the ongoing transformation.

“And so we share our family news that we are parting ways in marriage.”

It went on to say, “We share this not because we believe it is newsworthy, but so that we can live our lives with dignity and honesty.” Our love endures, evolving in ways it yearns for recognition and experience.

Bonet and Momoa are the parents of Lola, 18, and Wolf, 16.
