Jelly Roll has achieved a significant milestone by losing 100 pounds and has no plans to slow down

Jelly Roll has reached an incredible milestone in his ongoing weight-loss effort, revealing that he has shed 100 pounds thus far.

On October 22, the 39-year-old country singer posted a video on Instagram with the caption, “Next year, when y’all see me, you won’t recognize me.”

“I’m going to get under a pile of weights in a way that I never had,” he remarked, as his nutrition coach, Ian Larios, demonstrated what the singer (real name: Jason Bradley DeFord) has been doing to remain on track while on the road for his continuing Beautifully Broken tour.

“We just passed the halfway point of the tour, and Jelly’s been crushing it,” Larios told me.

“We’re either walking around the arena, playing basketball, or boxing,” he said, adding, “He just surpassed his 100-pound weight loss.”

Larios, who stated that the “Need a Favor” singer has been on a high-protein diet, also provided a few nutritious dishes that the singer adores. He displayed a “little bit fancier” version of Jelly’s favorite pre-performance snack, a banana, garnished with Manuka honey, Stevia, and dark chocolate shavings, which he claims “fuels him before a show.”

The nutrition coach also demonstrated what Jelly eats after a performance, showing how to prepare a variation of Nashville hot chicken by “taking away the oil and the batter from it.”

“We’re still having a high-protein meal,” he explained, preparing a coating of potato flour and a “little bit” of rice flour.

Larios explained that he cooks French fries in bone broth, which not only increases the protein content but also gives them a distinct crunch due to air-frying.

“So it fools your brain into believing that this is, say, that lovely greasy Nashville deep-fried hot chicken.” He’ll feel like he’s eating at home.”

“It is healthy.” It is air-fried. “It’s high in protein and helps him stay on track,” he added of the musician, who revealed in April that he shed 70 pounds while training for a 5K.

As Larios put it, “That 100-pound weight loss goal from the last tour is huge.” Jelly has no plans to slow down.
