Jennifer Lopez releases a scathing comment about her love life amid Ben Affleck’s ’embarrassing’ divorce declaration

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s divorce has made headlines in the celebrity world, and fans have been praising the singer’s recent statement regarding partnerships.

Lopez and Affleck announced their divorce in August of last year, after being married for two years.

Lopez stated their split date as April 26, 2024, although both celebs have kept their specifics private.

The ‘Let’s Get Loud’ singer turned to social media this week to make a statement that her fans would love, since it was a subtle reference to one of her most successful songs.

She said on Instagram, “Due to inflation, my love will now be costing nothing.”

In case you’re not familiar with JLo’s songs, this is in contrast to her song ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing.

In the 2011 song, JLo sings, “Even if you were broke, my love doesn’t cost a thing.”

Her supporters appeared to agree with her stance, joking alongside her in the comments.

Someone wrote, “Yasssss!!!” We need to know our worth, baby.”

Another said, “Period!” I have been saying this! Lol.”

A third said, “Talk di tingzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!” She’s not playing games with you!!!”

Despite the playful atmosphere, Lopez did not specifically discuss Affleck or their relationship.

Affleck earlier stated that he was pleased to have Lopez in his life and spoke of his positive relationships with all of the children in his life, including hers.

During an interview on the red carpet for his upcoming film The Accountant 2, he stated, “Listen, I don’t read the stuff online much, and sometimes I get the sense that people perpetuate this idea of…they want to find something negative to talk about.” For the record, Jennifer Lopez is fantastic; she is wonderful with my children and has a terrific, continuous relationship with them.

“I love her children.” They are fantastic,” Affleck remarked. “She is an immensely significant person with a lot of integrity, whom I admire and am thankful to.

“I’m thrilled that the kids are here with me.”

The actor stated, “That’s the type of thing where having a relationship with youngsters like that is a delight in my life. Those kids are great, and I’m pleased they want to see this movie.”

These nice sentiments come after Affleck stated he was ’embarrassed’ about talking about their problems, merely stating that it ‘feels vulnerable.’
