Jesse Kelly: Barack Obama ‘deserves to go to prison for the rest of his natural life’

Conservative pundit Jesse Kelly is calling for the arrest and punishment of former President Barack Obama, claiming that Obama used U.S. intelligence agencies to manufacture a false narrative about incoming President Donald Trump.

Kelly made the statements on a recent show, claiming that Obama’s alleged actions merited a public trial and a life term in jail.

Kelly said that Obama “cooked the books” on intelligence reports and utilized organizations like the CIA, FBI, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) for political gain.

“The President of the United States of America cooked the books on his orders of intelligence in order to create a false narrative about the incoming president who was about to be sworn in,” according to Kelly.

Kelly claimed that the alleged conduct is such a serious crime that it erodes public faith in American institutions.

“That is a crime so severe, Barack Obama should never see the light of day again,” according to him.

Kelly refuted the premise that prosecuting a past president would be improper, citing legal steps taken against President Donald Trump.

“And don’t tell me it’s too far. A precedent has been set. “I can show you Donald Trump’s mug shot,” Kelly explained.

Kelly contended that accountability at the highest levels of government is required to prevent future abuses of power.

He stated that if Obama is convicted and punished, future presidents will be less likely to employ intelligence services for political objectives.

“Not just because I hate him, but because the next time we get a scumbag like that in the Oval Office, he has to look at Barack Obama rotting in Fort Leavenworth and say to himself, Well, I guess the CIA probably isn’t my political arm, so maybe I should back off of that,” Kelly told reporters.

He also framed the problem as crucial to national stability, claiming that public trust in American institutions has already diminished and can only be rebuilt by direct responsibility.

“In this moment. I am not simply saying this for radio. It is everything for our country,” he explained.

“I do not believe we can keep the United States of America together until these individuals are imprisoned, because the American people no longer believe in their institutions; the ship has sailed, and institutional faith must be restored. Only one thing works. There aren’t two.” There is only one: accountability.”
