John Stamos is expressing his support for Dave Coulier, who has received a cancer diagnosis.
On Monday, November 18, the Full House co-stars uploaded new Instagram photographs, including a collaborative carousel with a special message.
“Nothing like throwing on a bald cap and flexing some Photoshop skills to show some love and solidarity with my brother @dcoulier,” Stamos, 61, opened the caption to the three-photo compilation.
“You’re handling this with incredible strength and positivity—it’s inspirational.” Stamos said, “I know you’re going to get through this, and I’m proud to stand with you every step of the way,” adding that Melissa, Coulier’s wife, “is the most wonderful.”
The first photo had the former coworkers and longtime friends posing—Courier, 65, with his head shaved and Stamos sporting a bald cap in support.

In the second photo, Stamos joked with Coulier as he assisted him in shaving his head. The final photograph featured Stamos and Melissa kissing Coulier’s bald head.
Coulier disclosed his stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis exclusively to PEOPLE on November 13.

He discovered his cancer after an upper respiratory illness in October caused his lymph nodes to enlarge rapidly, with one spot ballooning to the size of a golf ball. Coulier’s doctors recommended that he get PET and CT scans, as well as a biopsy due to the growth.
“We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is known as B cell, and it’s very aggressive,” my doctors informed me three days later.
“I went from getting a little bit of a head cold to having cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming,” Coulier told the magazine PEOPLE. The journey has been incredibly swift and unpredictable.

After hearing the news, he informed his Full House family, which included Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Scott Weinger, and series creator Jeff Franklin.
“I didn’t want them to hear it from someone else, so I sent a text message out,” the actor explained, noting that everyone’s response “was immediate.”
It was merely an expression of “I will be there.” You just specify the time, and I know you’re in excellent hands with Mel, but what can we do? We have an overpowering affection for each other. We have supported each other for numerous years, which is truly remarkable.
Hours after the publication of Dave’s interview with people, Stamos posted a message on social media, promising to “be by your side through it all.”
