Julian, 11-year-old music fan, demonstrated his guitar skills in school talent contest, giving performance that his classmates, teachers, and family will never forget!

At the age of eleven, a young rocker captivated the crowd with a version of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” during a school talent show. The intricate opening and tough chords of this song are enough to discourage wannabe guitarists, yet young Julian persevered and pursued his ambition of performing live in front of an audience. Being so brilliant at such a young age is no minor accomplishment.

Also, AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” is a masterpiece that no rock music specialist has heard of. For rockers worldwide, nothing matches the tried-and-true classic, owing to its unmistakable guitar and the ubiquitous “Aha” shouting. Julian showed the world that practicing and enjoying what you do is critical to success, no matter how difficult the job. Here’s a video of the entire performance:

A classmate introduces Julian, who marches forward boldly, accompanied by a gorgeous guitar and, of course, a Black Sabbath t-shirt. The audience knows he’s about to rip some major rock! Julian began shredding and demonstrating everything he had learned over the past few months without hesitation. Despite not having fully learned the song in music class, this young man’s courage and will led him to desire to play it.

When it comes to rock music, AC/DC ranks among the top names. In 1973, Australian brothers Malcolm and Angus Young created a band that would go on to create timeless rock music and an iconic brand. Even though the band’s lineup has changed several times, stadiums continue to be filled with fans whenever they perform. “Highway to Hell” is another of their famous songs; you can listen to it here:

Julian describes himself as a bassist who started playing guitar when he was six years old. Though he eventually chose “Thunderstruck,” his first intention was to emulate the late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton’s performance of “Orion” from Master of Puppets.
