Kim Kardashian, often a figure associated with controversy and polarizing opinions, now finds herself the target of widespread criticism, particularly from those who are now unified in their demand for her to apologize to Kate Middleton.

Unless one has been completely disconnected from current events in 2024, they would undoubtedly have encountered discussions surrounding the perplexing circumstances involving the Princess of Wales.

Last Friday, much of the ambiguity was dispelled when Kate released a poignant video message revealing her battle with cancer. This revelation followed two months of rampant speculation regarding her absence from public view following an abdominal procedure at a London hospital in late January.

Indeed, the internet couldn’t resist stirring up a whirlwind of conspiracy theories regarding Kate’s situation. These theories ranged from plausible to utterly outlandish, fueled by the dearth of information emanating from the Palace.

The situation wasn’t improved when the first official image of Kate since Christmas (originally intended to commemorate Mother’s Day in the UK) was withdrawn by leading photo agencies over concerns of potential manipulation.

Kate later admitted to having “self-edited” the image, but the debacle only served to pique the interest of those previously disinterested in the Kate Middleton saga, while those already intrigued slid further toward hysteria.

Even celebrities weren’t immune to involvement in offering opinions or jesting about the peculiar royal drama. Following Kate’s cancer announcement on Friday, many of them found themselves scrambling to issue apologies.

Among them is reality TV personality Kim Kardashian, whose fans are urging her to apologize for a joke made at Kate’s expense. The 43-year-old shared an image on her Instagram last week accompanied by the caption: “On my way to go find Kate.”

The timing of Kardashian’s attempt at humor couldn’t have been more ill-advised, as it occurred just days before Kate’s heartbreaking revelation.

Despite being given an opportunity to express remorse when questioned by a photographer about Kate while leaving her son Saint’s soccer game, Kim remained silent.

As of now, Kim’s initial Instagram post remains unremoved, with numerous individuals in the comments section calling for her to at least issue an apology.

“I think an apology is needed!” remarked one person.

Another insisted, “After the news of her having cancer has been revealed, you should really take this down. It’s extremely insensitive and you owe our princess an apology.”

“Can you please go find an apology instead??” pleaded a third commenter.
