It’s truly disheartening to witness the mistreatment of animals, but fortunately, there are compassionate individuals willing to intervene and provide these innocent creatures with the love and care they deserve.

Such was the case for a poor cat subjected to a cruel act of being dyed blue and left abandoned, but thanks to the efforts of a rescuer, her story took an incredible turn…

According to the YouTube channel The Moho, the cat was found exposed to the elements, drenched in the rain. She had been callously dyed with toxic blue ink, seemingly for amusement, and callously discarded.

Animal rescuer Amauri Gomes discovered the distressed feline and promptly sought veterinary assistance. The painstaking process of delicately removing the blue dye commenced, utilizing pet-safe cleansers and oils.

Through considerable time and care, the rescuers successfully removed 90% of the paint. Although the process was undoubtedly uncomfortable for the cat and resulted in significant fur loss, they prioritized her comfort and well-being, and she reportedly cooperated throughout.

Appropriately, they named her “Blue.” Nourishing her with food and providing essential medical attention, Blue gradually regained her strength, showcasing the most endearing demeanor.

As the blue paint faded away, her true colors emerged, revealing a striking white and gray coat.

Once fully healed, having regained her weight and returned to her natural appearance, Blue was made available for adoption.

It’s truly incomprehensible that anyone would subject a cat to such cruelty, but we are relieved that Blue is now thriving and back to her original hues. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone involved in rescuing Blue!
