Lindsay Lohan is embracing her post-baby figure and channeling Mean Girls for her new parenting perspective after the birth of her son, Luai.
“I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery,” Lohan, 37, said on Instagram on Wednesday, August 2, with a photo of her post-birth belly. “Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!”
Lohan joked that her “OOTD lately” is postpartum underwear, explaining, “Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”
Fans immediately recognized Lohan’s Mean Girls allusion, in which she quoted Regina George’s (Amy Poehler) classic line, “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom.” (In the 2004 picture, Lohan played Cady Heron.)

In the comments section, Jonathan Bennett, who played Lohan’s love interest Aaron Samuels in the rom-com, said, “You’ve never looked more beautiful.”
Lisa Ann Walter, who portrayed Chessy in the 1998 comedy Parent Trap, also left a message for the new mom, saying, “You look so fit, healthy, and gorgeous!” “Aww, that adorable little boy has enhanced your beauty.”
On July 17, Us Weekly revealed that Lohan had “welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai.” At the time, her spokesman told Us, “The family is over the moon in love.”

Lohan revealed her pregnancy in March after marrying Bader Shammas in April 2022. “We are blessed and excited!” she captioned an Instagram snap of a onesie with the words “Coming soon.”
At the time, Lohan told Us that she and Shammas, 35, “are very excited for our new family member to arrive, and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!”
A source exclusively told Us in March that the Falling for Christmas actress “always wanted to be a mom and a wife,” adding that Lohan “wants balance” between her job and her personal life.
“She wants to be a family mom and not just a working mom,” a source revealed. “[She] wants to stay at home with the baby, but she will continue to work.”
According to a second source, Lohan’s desire to continue performing while raising her children led to her spouse joining her work team. “Bader is now working with her and helping to manage her with [her mom] Dina Lohan,” an informant revealed in March. “He’s really helped Lindsay become who she is today, and she trusts him.”
